Lorna Reade was born and raised in Zambia. Lorna's first
group exhibition was at the Johannesburg Art Gallery, Joubert Park and in 1972
Lorna received her first official commission, an Oil painting for The David
Hotel in Jerusalem.
Solo and group exhibitions followed in Johannesburg and Pretoria as Lorna
Hoffman. In May 1991 she opened The Barn Art Gallery and Coffee Shop in
Worcester, with partner glassblower, David Reade. Lorna and David have their
studios at The Barn and exhibit worldwide. Lorna's mediums are watercolour,
oils and inks.
