Tim Dlamini, a black artist from KwaZulu Natal,
South Africa, brings clay to life through the unique characters and facial
expressions of his hand built, ceramic figures
The Dlamini figures portray the traditional way in which African people carry
supplies on their heads, and came to life through a local outreach project,
designed to support and guide emerging, black artists.
The following artworks are a representation of the Artist's body of work. A wider
selection
is available for viewing at Afrikana Gallery in South Melbourne. |
